If Tom does nothing, it is not ethical. This is because Tom knows that Janna is not completely satisfied because of always being made to do time-consuming as well as unpleasant tasks. Tom definitely has a responsibility to Janna to make sure that every concern of Janna is addressed by Tom. This is because Tom is the manager of Janna as well as that of Kim. Therefore, Tom cannot let unfair things happen in the workplace because of the fear that Kim is assertive and will create conflict on being confronted by Tom.
